Manufactured from highly robust Polyurethane fabric, our Solid-Float Booms have cylindrical floats and handles every two metres for easy positioning. We can also supply booms in chemical-resistant XR5 fabric.

The top tube is air inflated, while the lower tubes are water ballasted. This design provides stability for the floating section and, by virtue of the weight of ballast, seals the foreshore when aground. Flaps have been built into the top of the air chamber to deflect water in choppy conditions.

We have solutions that are suitable for rivers and sheltered water, harbours and strong currents, and exposed harbours with strong winds. While there is a risk of puncture with some air-inflated booms, ours are highly abrasion-resistant.
